英國e化教學 臺灣可借鏡

前往英國參加「世界教育部長會議」返國的教育部長杜正勝昨天表示，資訊融入教學已經是世界趨勢，臺灣的資訊基礎設備已經很好，但是在教學文化上仍然有很大的提升空間。以英國為例，教學的方式相當靈活，也很多元化，連品格教育都可以納入資訊融入教學中。　
杜正勝舉例說，英國的中小學，將校園霸凌的教育納入資訊教學的範疇，讓學生自行拍攝、剪接校園霸凌的影片，並進行討論。看到影片中「大欺小」、「強欺弱」情形，就有學生表示，以後不會再欺負別人。
教師表示，這個課程結束後，校園霸凌的情形改善不少。英國的中小學如何運用資訊教學？杜正勝指出，他參觀一所學校時發現，課本只是擺著參考，教師會自行發展教材，透過電子白板或電腦進行教學，例如教師講完「能源」的原則後，就請學生上網搜查與能源相關的資料，而每個學生使用的電腦螢幕和查到的資料都不一樣，上課的方式相當多元。反觀國內，教學往往太過呆板，每個學生的電腦螢幕都是一樣的畫面，這些都是值得改進的。

電腦網路普及，現在國小學童流行用網路軟體學習，屏東忠孝國小，就有1個老師很特別，在課堂上活潑，有創意的教學，讓孩子們非常喜歡，樂在學習。
得課後複習很無聊嗎？你一定要看看這個老師怎麼教的。屏東忠孝國小電腦老師李忠屏：「來，眼睛上面，穴道功放輕鬆，眼睛下面，用力喊出來。」
課堂上按摩眼睛，跑跑跳跳，小朋友樂得不得了，老師費盡苦心，就是擔心小朋友眼睛盯電腦累壞了。
舒展完筋骨，進入主題，互動式網路學習，看文章，學造句，寫心得，隨小朋友喜歡，豐富的色彩和精彩的動畫，潛移默化中，輕鬆把知識記進腦袋裡。創意電腦班學生：「上課時老師活潑很風趣，讓我們上課不會非常單調，網路學習可以有更多資料，讓我們去尋找。」
教學軟體業者邱程祈：「我們的課程內容，做得相當活潑生動，小朋友相當的喜歡，從遊戲中做學習。」
隨著電腦普及，網路課後補充教材越來越豐富多元，跟著老師活潑的引導，孩子開心學習，讓家長很放心。

Own reflective commentary on the designed website

After implementing and accessing my website, the extension activity of Traveling in Taiwan, there are some comments and ideas arising in my mind,
Hot Potatoes (HP) exercises are really good for language software design. It is very easy to use even the teachers do not have knowledge of HTML.
However, in my website, it seems not too many exercises built up for the learners . What I want to do differently is to build up more challenge exercises by adopting HP, such as add more questions in multiple choices or create more than one sentence in word jumbles. In addition, it is good to put some images as visual aids. I would like to add more photos of Taiwan on the first page (main page) if there are still have enough space. Next, I would like to change the topic to Traveling in Taiwan-MRT system, because I found most content on the website are about MRT system. For the reason, I want learners just focus on the information of MRT system when they are using this website. Since there is the possibility of a technical failure by using software and Internet, it is essential to organize a backup lesson or activity. Therefore, it is necessary to double check if the hardware and software are functioning well on the computers for learners to use.

creating a website

The First step~~
I am thinking to use the webquest as the final project or a kind of assessment in the website. For the reason, it is necessary to plan some activities for learners to practise before they do the webquest. The acitivities will focus on reading and writing exercises in order to guide the learners how to read and search for a specific information.
Recently, I am still learning "Dreamweaver" from the books and also the Internet online tutorial. It's challenging but interesting...

It really spent me much time to finish it.
The lesson is Traveling in Taiwan, and I found it's interesting.
I did try many websites of Taipei city which includes Chinese and English version .
I found it's good to offer studnets some sites, so they don't need to "find the needle in a cyberstack".
